This full-time opportunity has arisen in the exciting Leicestershire Revenues and Benefits Partnership. The Partnership is a Shared Service comprising of the Revenues and Benefits Teams for Hinckley & Bosworth, North West Leicestershire, and Harborough District Councils.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the Revenues team dealing with all aspects of the billing and collection of Council Tax and Housing Benefit overpayments.
The post involves maintaining accurate computer records, issuing bills and letters, chasing unpaid debt, dealing with customer correspondence and providing advice and guidance to customers
The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to deal with difficult situations in a tactful and assertive manner.
This job is varied and can be challenging, therefore the ability to be flexible, work under pressure and to deadlines is essential.
Full training will be provided and your main location will be at our offices in the Atkins Building in Hinckley, Leicestershire.
