Essential Car User Allowance
We have a vacancy for a part-time Property Inspector in our Revenues and Benefits service. This position will play a key role in helping us to maintain accurate and up to date Council Tax and Business Rates property records.
Whilst it would be an advantage if you have knowledge of Council Tax and Business Rates legislation, this is not essential as training will be provided. More importantly you must be organised, and able to manage your work efficiently and effectively. In this role you will spend a large amount of your working week out in the South Holland District Council area, so you must be confident in your ability to work alone, but as important be able to work as part of a team.
You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate well with all range of people and organisations. Accuracy and attention to detail are key skills required in the role, as is the ability to be able to write clear, concise and accurate reports following your visits.
The successful candidate must have a full driving licence, and daily access to a vehicle as a large part of the job will be out in the field.
