Head of Revenues and Benefits Shared Service

Nuneaton and Bedworth and North Warwickshire Borough Councils are small Councils with big values and ambitions. We are committed to ensuring our services are delivered to the highest possible standard and we put the customer at the forefront of everything we do as demonstrated by our award winning financial inclusion work and performance levels.  By working for us you will become part of the team and will play your part in serving our communities.

Due to the external promotion of the current post holder, we are currently recruiting for a dynamic Head of Revenues and Benefits to lead our forward-thinking and innovative shared service put in place in January 2015. The role is responsible for the management of the full range of revenues and benefits services across the two authorities with an ever increasing focus on financial inclusion to support the roll out of Universal Credit. As part of the development of the shared service this will see both Councils operating the CIVICA Revenues and Benefits system due to go live in North Warwickshire in December 2018 so it is a really exciting time to join us and build on our already impressive performance levels.

The successful candidate will be committed to delivering timely and accurate services, better outcomes for our customers and seek the use of technology to provide a responsive and effective service.  Ability to drive change, work across a range partners and manage competing priorities across two sites will be essential.
