We are looking for an experienced enthusiastic and highly motivated Benefits professional to join our Benefits team and help us provide an efficient and effective benefits service to our customers.
Your main responsibilities will be to effectively manage the quality checking procedure whilst contributing to the overall improvement of benefit performance, paying particular attention to accuracy levels. Preparing and presenting Appeals for court as well as assisting the benefits team leader in the day to day running and supervision of staff in their duties.
You will be well organised and have recent, relevant work experience and knowledge in preparing and presenting appeals, quality checking and assessing complex housing benefit and council tax reduction claims alongside use of the Northgate Benefits computer system. In return we can offer you an interesting and challenging role.
Starting salary will be dependent on experience of housing benefit and council tax reduction.
