POST TITLE: REVENUES MANAGER
SALARY: Grade 12 £40,527- £44,285

A vacancy has arisen for Revenues Manager in the Mid Kent Revenues and Benefits Partnership (MKS) for a conscientious and motivated individual to lead and manage the Revenues Team which deals with the billing, collection and enforcement of Council Tax and Business Rates.
MKS is an innovative shared service model and the Revenues function is delivered on behalf of Maidstone Borough Council and Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.
You will be required to take an active role in the future delivery of the Revenues Team across the 2 different organisations. Whilst the employing authority and main place of work is Maidstone Borough Council, you will be expected to work across both councils as necessary.
You will need to have a commitment to excellence and have detailed knowledge of Council Tax and Business Rates legislation, as well as experience of having worked and managed staff in a Revenues environment.
The Council considers this to be a customer focused role and the ability to converse at ease with customers adapting communication style to suit differing audiences and provide advice in accurate spoken English is fundamental to the role.
