Revenues Officer Recovery x 2 (Req No. 001221)
Oxford City Council
Salary 21,137 - 26,550  Per Annum Career Grade Scheme G4 with progression to G5
Permanent  37 hours

Oxford City Council is committed to delivering excellent public service. We need to collect £170m of Council Tax, Business Rates and Housing Benefit overpayments each year to fund delivery of our services. We need a Recovery Officer to join the Revenues team to help us achieve this.

 

This role is a career graded opening with integrated training and development opportunities to enable you to progress to grade 5 level if you're not quite there yet! The job will involve money due collections, Court attendance, repayment plan negotiations, referring suitable debtors to Advice Centres, taking recovery action where a plan cannot be agreed and identifying suitable cases for legal enforcement or write-off. We are looking for a flexible and hardworking person who is interested in positively contributing to our team.
