Compass Point Business Services is an innovative and forward thinking company formed in 2010 which provides a range of services (Human Resources, Finance, IT, Customer Services and Revenues & Benefits) primarily to South Holland and East Lindsey District Councils. It is a company which is wholly owned by the Councils.
We are looking to recruit full time, enthusiastic and motivated Benefit Assessors to work as part of our team.
You must have up to date and comprehensive knowledge of Housing Benefit/Council Tax Support legislation and have current experience calculating and assessing all claim types.
Working as part of a team providing a first class service to our customers, you will be able to work with little supervision to achieve tight deadlines.
You should have excellent communication skills, a good standard of education and be computer literate. Your experience, in a local authority or similar environment, will ideally include use of the Capita Academy Benefits system.
Positions are available in either of our two sites at the South Holland District Council office in Spalding or East Lindsey District Council office in Manby, and will generally involve working Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.
