Salary £21,700 - £32,200 per annum depending on experience and skills
The Revenues section deals with the administration, billing, collection and recovery of Council Tax and Non-domestic Rates.
This is a new post created to co-ordinate the billing, collection and recovery of Non-domestic Rates.
The section has faced significant change and will continue to do so. Since 2013 Non-domestic Rates have been partially localised, with full local rate retention being achieved by 2020. Changes to the Non-domestic Rates system and termination of Council Tax discounts on empty properties have presented challenges for the section. The team are proud of their record and have regularly achieved top collection rates every year for the past decade.
This is an exciting opportunity for somebody with NDR experience who is looking to take the next steps in their career.
