Starting Salary £16,958 to £22,443
We are seeking a self-motivated and flexible candidates to join our busy team based at our Thetford office, however you may be required to work at other sites on occasion.
As a Revenues Officer in the Council Tax team, your main duties will involve updating the Council Tax database, dealing with customer enquiries received by telephone or other means of communication and assisting in the billing, collection and recovery of Council Tax. You will also be involved in liaison work with numerous stakeholders such as the Enforcement team and valuations Office so you need to be an excellent communicator who can keep their cool under pressure.
Candidates require a good standard of general education and preferably possess some knowledge of Council Tax regulations, although training is provided. The ability to contribute fully to the team’s achievement of performance targets is an essential requirement. You should also have proven IT skills and you must be willing to use new information technology; previous experience of ACADEMY and COMINO would be a great advantage. Full training will be provided for the successful candidates.
